Great job to the Rockets. Beating the Mavs in Dallas (even with Dirk-the Jerk out) was good to see. I think the one game suspension was a bit light considering the pull down job Dirk did on Kirelenko in Utah to get the suspension.

Baka, remember the last loss for the Rockets was to my beloved Jazz (not a great road team) in Houston. This is the same team that knocked the Rockets out of the playoffs last year. The West is wide-open and stacked with great teams.

Well the Rockets are on a hot streak, and they're doing it without one of their star players, Yao. They're going to set I record, I smell victory in the air, and boy howdy does it smell Gooooooooooooooood!!!!! They just keep getting better and better and climbing the charts, so look out Spurs, duck and cover Jazz, we are COMING ON SO GET READY FOR A BEAT DOWN!!!!

The Rockets can go on the longest winning streak in league history and it won't matter a bit when TMac and the boys get knocked out in the first round AGAIN.

I have to agree. I don't see the Rockets being a strong playoff team. The streak is impressive (and to be honest, unexpected...where did they come from???). However, I don't see them going far this year.

I haven't watched much b-ball since Jordan retired but it would appear the team to be is the Celtics.

How do they stack up agains the other division leaders?

Regardless of the Rockets recent playoff history, this has been super fun to watch. People in Houston who haven't watched them since the Hakim era are starting to come back to the fold. I was in Jr High when they won their 2 championships and I've been hooked ever since.

The majority of Houstonians couldn't name anyone on the team other than T-Mac and Yao before this but now you hear people talking about Luther Head, Battier, Alston, Hayes, Mutombo (funny how many people are surprised to hear he plays for the Rockets) and our super rookies Landry and Scola.

Plus the fact that they are doing this without Yao is pretty incredible. The Rockets are selling out more games than they have in a while and the city is rallying.

So regardless of the near future for the Rockets, its a good time to be a Rockets fan.

I've been watching, but nothing to crow about, as they pretty much sucked sour frog ass since 1995. So yep, it's a great year to be a Rockets fan.

I love to see the Spurs and Jazz fans giving reasons why the streak is meaningless. Yeah, right, momentum and teamwork have nothing to do with winning games. The Rockets are hot as hell right now, and it's a new team vibe since Yao left, the players are gelling like Magellan and we have multiple threats on the court. You can't guard us when we have half a dozen guys good enough to put up double digit points every game. Go Rockets!! Woo-hoo!! Kick some Lakers ass this weekend!!!!
