Looking good so far. What are the inside dimensions? And what do you plan to use to keep the humidity up?
Just a stay at home dad (retired until I choose otherwise, thanks Canadian Army medical pension) hanging out and enjoying the good life.

Thanks, the inside dimensions are 400mm x 270mm x 300mm or something like that, I have a poly-acrylic humidifier to keep the humidity up in there (some sort of crystal, that swells when charged with distilled water).

Well time for another update, with once again blurry out of focus pictures
the hinges are in !, they just need a little fine tuning but other wise the fit well. I have moved the veneer into my workshop so that it can take a day or two to acclimatize to the conditions in the workshop, this is so it shouldn't warp or move when applied to the piece .

Here are the pics the first two show the hinges going in, the third shows it all put together.
