Things to do while smoking..........I usually watch tv/movie or surf the web when at home. When
out and about, cigar lounges and coffee shops with friends. They're also great for driving, especially with LA traffic......tends to calm the nerves a little bit![]()
I like to brew beer and smoke a good cigar. There is quite a bit of down time when brewing and it's a great chance to have "garage time" away from people.
I also like to smoke on road trips, as long as my wife is not along for the ride. I smoke while I read and I smoke at least 3 cigars when I play dominos with my brother.
It gets to be 110* here in the Sacramento in the summer. It's very hard to find a place to smoke indoors. It's the cigar off-season.
The weather is great now. Yesterday I had a Tatuaje VI and it was good. Then I had a La Flor Dominica and it was tasty too. Gotta smoke 'em before the heat arrives!![]()
I have gotten back into radio listening. I have a new police scanner programmed with the local frequencies. I also picked up a nice portable shortwave radio. I smoke out behind the house in the garage where we have an old couch set up.
It is nice in the evenings to grab a good bottle of beer or pour a glass of scotch, then light up a nice 1.5 hour cigar and fiddle around to see what I can pick up on one of my radios. Sometimes you hear interesting events with the local police (and I am near newark, so plenty of action there). On the shortwave you can pick up radio stations from cuba or taiwan, among other places.
Other than that I sit back with a good book or load a movie or tv show onto the laptop.
