I'm in Seattle. It's definitely the wettest place I've lived. It's still better than central NY. No less sun and the precipitation ain't frozen!

Knock on wood. Two winters ago Seattle got snow and ice. What a mess. The boss didn't want us to go over the hill until the roads were ice free. Not because of our driving habits, but the locals had lost their minds. There were so many cars parked along the side of I-5 where people had stopped and walked away, not wanting to drive in the ice and snow. I can't blame them. Seattle + Snow = Stay home.
But other then that, I like going to Seattle/Tacoma during the winter. It's a nice change from all the cold weather. How long have you been in Seattle?
3/4 of the Earth's surface is water and 1/4 is land. Clearly god wants me to fish, not mow the lawn.
I grew up in Atlanta so I know all about the dumbasses trying to drive in snow without any prior experience. Seattle's like central NY except that the precipitation isn't frozenI like it here but for the traffic and cost of living. I've been here ten years now. The mild summers are a nice change from the South. I just miss AC
