You can go for multiple days without checking in? You, sir, are a better man than I.

I am also behind on welcoming all the new guys, so welcome from western Indiana.

Thanks, guys! It will be nice talking with all of you. I mean, I don't know much about cigars, so hopefully you all can teach me something.

I know I'm not new by any means, but I don't post a lot. I have, however, decided to start. This could be a fun hobby to take up!

First piece of useful cigar amoking advice to the new cigar smoker...

DO NOT (under any circumstances) try to put the lit end into your mouth...

Easier said than done. Also, be careful with torch lighters, especially when you accidentally have them upside-down.

Speaking of torch lighters. I have an old cheap one that sometimes stays lit even after stop pressing the button and it closes. A couple of times my pocket has gotten all warm.

I second that. My first torch lighter that I bought has a tendency to do that but I keep it around as a keepsake.

Incontinence is nothing to be ashamed of...I'm sure it happens to plenty of guys your age.

My brother in law has put the wrong end in his mouth. I think he was under the influence of cheap beer. My brother smoked an H. Upmann Signature Double Eagle backwards somehow...I guess it's easy to confuse the head and the foot!
I always find it humorous when someone asks which end you should light...good opportunity for bad advice...
