I asked that my account be deleted, and, later the same day when I tried to sign in, I got the error message that no such user-id existed. Perfect.

What really happened was my username was changed, and the account banned.

Alternatively, you could use them as send them to JC in thanks for 'deleting' you, or use them as plinking targets, mosquite repellent (although they might work as people repellent as well), or perform scientific experiments on them, preferably involving firecrackers
