I don't know if you are considering aging that particular cigar. I remember reading something somewhere about aging cigars - the darker wrappers may age better. That Cuesta Rey may not age very well. Maybe I'm way off base. Smoke it! You'll love it.
I haven't noticed any drop off in these with up to a year of age on them. I haven't been able to keep any for longer than that though, so others may have better long-term insight than I do.

Here's my experience and I'll bet it's happened to others. I'd buy a single at the smoke shop, try it and llike it a lot. So, I'll order up a box, smoke one and wonder why they now taste like crap. I've even gone so far as to suspect that the retail shops were getting better cigars from special lots.

Anyway, so i stick the box down in the humi and forget about it for a while. Some time later pull one out, smoke it and like it again. What's happened is the one from the B&M might have been aged, the box I bought was fresh from the fingers of the torcedor and a little aging took care of the problem.
