Can I just say how hap happy I am that I first introduced myself, as is appropriate, even on a car forum! .... searched before asking questions! And, showed respect for those members who were here before me!
This is a member's forum, and most members concider it their forum.
If you want to become one of the gang, don't barge in and demand answers!
These men, and women will indeed help you if you knock, introduce yourself, look around, and read the rules, before asking questions.
This is just MY opinion, but I think noobs (like myself) will benefit from the advice!

There are those communities that would tolerate and even encourage Karl asking that kind of question - and there are those communities that would not. Both have a price. Seeing Karl make his way back out the front door is truly not a bad price to pay to be less tolerant.

C'mon - seriously - it's not rocket science to show respect for a community to do the things that bring respect.
