Mad Dog Banana Red and a Peach White Owl?
I guess they would compliment each other in a gross Pina Colada sort of way!![]()

In an attempt to completely hijack your thread, I wonder if we couldn't transform this thread into one where we share pairings we've experienced, good or bad.
This would distinguish itself from the "What did you smoke today" thread by identifying a quality pairing. Might even help if you mention what you liked about it:
For example, I had a Russell's Reserve 6 yr. Rye with a Padron '26 #9 Maddy. I was pleasantly surprised.
The Padron probably had a couple of years on it, as it was a bit milder in taste than I remember other anniversary Padron maduros. To tell the truth, I was worried the cigar would overpower the drink; however, they complimented each other well. The moderate mellowness of each worked very well with each other. Throw in perfect construction, a full bottle of the rye, and a J/Q of hearts, and and we have a nice evening.
Cigar: Anejo 49
Drink: HC Anejo Reserva (Rum)
Excellent.

Habanos Puros Fuerte & Yuengling Bock Beer.
The HPF had an excellent, but strong sweet tobacco / bitter oil balance going on, that hung long on the palate. The Bock cut it nicely, and finished it off with a decent carbonation sweetness. I dunno, I liked it YMMV.

* Wiser's Reserve Canadian Whiskey
* Started with a POR Cuban Grade Corona then fired up an Edge Toro
Very Good.
