right now, i have a crappy gateway i just put 2 TB, HD's in it and upgraded teh RAM to 4GB...
which was stupid because my system is only 32-bit.
but i'm building new comp right now, with the Intel i7 2.88Ghz with 6GB's of RAM and a nvidia 260.

It is not necessarily a waste of ram 32bit windows will use 3.5 gigs or so depending on what your video card has on it.
