To MRTR - I feel like I've let you down on a more personal level since you ran this pass previously. I have removed GaRy from the pass and hope to have you stay in this.

You didn't let me down. Like it's been said before in this thread, it's not like this pass is 'mine' or anything - I just hogged running it for 2 years in a row. I think you've been doing a fine job, and everyone understands that things come up - I think we all would have appreciated a little heads up if you knew you were going to be out this past week. But you did have a backup (Mangy), and Bo responded in a somewhat timely fashion; let's move on and keep this pass going.

My requirement for continued participation in this pass has been met. My reasons have been well documented in various threads the last few days - no need to rehash it here again. Simply put, I seek to avoid asshatery in the passes I participate in.

We were running a tight schedule with the conference that I was attending, along with chasing after European women all week... Anytime I've ever sent one to somebody whose box was full I've gotten an error message that told me that, and the item does not show up in my sent box. I honestly didn't even realize that he mentioned the puro in the PM. I will take full blame for this one but did not realize that I had fucked up then tried to lie about it. I just realized that I was a total idiot for missing the puro origin in the PM and immediately posted up about it.

I take full responsibility for my actions, stupid or otherwise. This one, my actions were just plain stupid.

How does this happen? You're the moderator of this pass. If ANYONE should be on top of this at all, it should be you. One could argue that it's the most important thing you're doing on the board right now. We all knew Bo was on a timeline, yet you thought it prudent to allow him in at his scheduled time instead of bumping him down to a less time-restrictive slot. We (as pass participants) are entrusting you to make those calls. So we shouldn't have to wonder if you've covered your bases in allowing something like this to happen. Then to show up a day or so later with no answers as to whether or not Mangy's guess was right was ridiculous.

The plot thickens once we hear that Bo had taken care of sending you information on his puro. You should keep your inbox empty to field any questions from anyone asking, anyways. So days later we hear from you, and you still haven't seen his PM. In the matter of about 10 minutes this morning, though, you were somehow able to 'find' Bo's PM.

Nope. You only posted this shit after your two attempts below were blown out of the water. You fucked up and ignored the pass you were responsible for, then tried to deflect the blame in any other direction you could.

And, WTF, how can you lie and not realize it? That's a new one for me.

To Bo - I did not receive your PM and I am sorry about that. I will make sure to check in with everyone before they post up so that if a situation arises where they can not verify the correct guess I will be able to step in and keep the pass moving.

If I am out of town for work I will coordinate with Mangy to assist when I am away, I will also forward him any PMs that I receive concerning the pass so that if I am not on every day to check this he can fill in for me as needed.

How in the hell do you expect anyone to NOT think you're being less than forthright about this? It's pretty plain that a couple of your statements are NOT true!!

Perhaps you should see if anyone is willing to take the pass over for you and run it to completion. I know there are others here who could handle it.
