Whelp, I'm back again from the mine site in Mexico. Rough trip, stayed in Mazapil again at the bright green hotel, no electricity the first night. On Sunday we left the mine at 1pm so had a half day to kill. Rather than watch Mexican soap operas for the rest of the day we opted to drive to Concha (the other small town where I've stayed before). There isn't much to do in Concha, but there's even less to do in Mazapil. We took the "old road" over the mountain (not paved, no longer used) instead of the new road which goes around the mountain which was pretty cool, saw some ruins and a monastery that is still occupied. Best part of the trip was that instead of the normal old prop plane we normally take this time we had a super fancy jet.

If you're looking for a nice place to stay in Mazapil, look no further! Well you can look around but this is all there is - so you'll end up staying here anyway.
