I'm in Alberta.

As for participating, yes, Both VancouverMark and I participated in this, and other, splits that Will has put on. I can't speak for Will, and won't bother trying, but I suspect he'd be willing to include you too in future splits. It's up to you to contact him and ask about that next time he puts one on.

In the mean time, I recommend you do a Newbie Sampler or two (search "newbie sampler V" on this site). It will help establish your credibility with guys like Will, who've been a member for quite some time, and will give you a golden opportunity to try some good sticks for a reasonable price. I did a sampler with both of the Canadian members who are participating when I first joined up and was VERY glad I did so.
