Best wishes to you too, and to all my cigar smoking cronies.

If I may get mushy here for a moment, I really do love my wife. We will have been married for fifteen years this May and she still incredibly fantastic to me. It doesn't take getting naked with her to make me lucky, I just am lucky every day.

Having said all that, there is no way we go out tonight as busy as it will be, but I bet I'll cook her something nice and let her have control of the TV remote. ;)

    Dude!

She was looking over your shoulder as you typed this.....wasn't she!?

I feel exactly the same way about my wife. Twelve years in April (my longest relationship before that never quite reached two years......lol) and I wouldn't trade a moment of it for anything. She's my best friend and my soul mate and there just isn't anything I wouldn't do for her.

I'm making her an elk meat pie for supper!

May you all have a good Valentine's day.

    LOL

Thanks Cinda, and Happy Valentines Day to you as well!

And to the rest of you....ah what the hell, Happy Valentines Day. Be nice to the ladies in your lives. Just think about what they have had to deal with from you guys. Should be pretty easy to be overly nice today, I'd imagine.

Sorry - I don't celebrate this cheesy holiday. Not that I'm not a romantic, but - dadgumit - this is not about the wife/girlfriend/mother, etc - this is about enriching candy companies, florists and card companies. This holiday is for the weak - if you can't spend EVERY day honoring the important people in your life, why should this one day make up for it? Bahhh humbug!!!!

Oh wait... That's Christmas - my other favorite cheesy holiday!!!

Hey - I'm holding out for St. Patrick's day. Now THAT'S a holiday you can sink your teeth into!!!

I guess that would depend on how one celebrates it. All my gift took was thought, time, and a thesaurus....very little money.
