Based on your recommendations I picked up a Short Story and a Casa Torano on the way home from work on Friday. I really liked the Short Story and it was a perfect smoke during the stop and go traffic on my way home.

I got to enjoy the Casa Torano later that night while herfing with some friends at a bar in the city. While I did enjoy it, it didn't knock my socks off and I can't see myself using it as my go to smoke. Very smooth and pleasant though!

The shop closest to me doesn't stock Perdomo's anymore so I'll have to pick some up from online. I have smoked a couple Perdomo Reserve Cameroon 'F''s and loved them. Can't wait to try a Perdomo Squared.

Its kinda your fault for my recent increase in cigar purchases.
I saw this post and ordered it. A week later I found out about cigarbid and went to town. And as they say the rest was history.

I'm always open for box splits! My buddies from out of town and I smoked almost 20 sticks out of my stash this weekend, so after freeing up some room in the humi I can't wait to fill it back up!

Here's a pic of the leftovers after this Saturday's afternoon of throwing washers and herfing with a few longtime friends.

As far as medium to full bodied smokes, I highly recommend the Carlos Torano Virtuoso and Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 lines. Torano actually makes many of the Gurkha cigars. A few people have commented that many of the blends are similar and Torano's are much better priced.
Thanks for the recommendations. I have tried the Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 but I've only tried it once, so I'm going to get a 5 pack and try them again.

The first cigar I smoked this year was a Gurkha Connecticut Reserve Robusto #4 and I was hooked. I can't find them online though, so after calling CI I was told that they are only being sold in samplers and such to gauge market interest. So if anyone knows where to get 5 packs or more, please let me know.

Once I tasted the Gurkha Legend '8 Years Aged' Robusto and the Gurkha Class Regent Robusto I was in love. I paid just over $3/stick for the 8 Year Robustos and less than $2/stick for the Class Regent Robusto. All in all the 3 or 4 different types of Gurkha's I have in the humi I've liked and the price seems to be right.

If the Torano's are even better priced I just might be in heaven.

Im gonna agree with Hex and say try the Carlos Torano 1959 Exodus, awesome smoke.

Also the Fuente lines are awesome, especially the Hemingway.

5 Vegas Seires 'A' is one of my favs also.
If you had to pick just one Fuente line to smoke for the rest of your life, which one would you pick?

Thanks for the recommendations and I'm dying to try a CAO Black. Might have to add that to my list to buy this week.

If I could afford it I would smoke an Opux X every day, but I cant. The Hemingway (any one of em) are among my fav smokes. Signature or the Short Story for a good quick smoke are my favs.
