It's kind of preposterous to ban sombody for posting a POLITICAL view in a POLITICAL forum, don'tcha think?

It's not the message, it's the delivery. Political viewpoints are of no consequence in deeming his posts inappropriate. It is more likely than not that Barry and I will end up voting for the same person for the next president. However, because of his inflammatory posting style I have yet to see anything value in his posts.

As I said before, I haven't asked (even though it seems he is) for a banning poll nor do I plan to. Although politically I lean more to the left than right, I find his position, because of his tone, unsupportable and detrimental to the board environment.

Point taken, However, political discussions can and do get heated. If we all want the political forum, then we need to understand this. It's easy to take a post personally... It's just as easy to ignore it. The only alternative, in my view, is to get rid of the political forum, which I do not want.

Behaving in a mature and respectable manner is.

Get a clue sheby, it's not his "political" views that are the issue here, it's his nasty, vicious, vulgar posts and overall shitty attitude and the way he attacks people personally for no good reason.
