My guess is that you didn't and just shot from the hip and wrongfully concluded that he had "toned it down" when in fact the truth is just the opposite, he was very nasty. What am I "exaggerating" about? Shelby said you toned it down, I stated the truth which is that you posted an avatar of a kitten with a gun to his head with the words "die" which clearly refutes his claim that you had "toned it down." On the contrary, this supports my claim that you had NOT "toned it down" but had actually done exactly the opposite by posting that avatar AFTER shelby claims you "toned it down." The fact that is was "up for less than 24 hrs" is irrelevant Barry. The fact that you put up such an avatar like that for any length of time yesterday is proof positive that you DID NOT "tone it down" as Shelby wrongly stated you did.

There is absolutely no need for your "drama queen" comment or your snide "you're boring all of us" comment as you certainlly don't speak for "all of us" here Barry, far from it.

Interesting that we have a number of members that aren't voting in this - the ones who really matter most to this board.

George, what does this say about the 19 people who did vote (and remember you cast your ballot too)?
The guys who pointed out that they would refrain from voting (K7, NH, Lopaka) are all great guys who have my respect. I know they aren't the only ones who abstained from voting but they stated publicly why they weren't. My favorite reason is from K7, "I didnt vote just to show I dont give a fuck about this whole bunch of shit."
Anyway, each one of the non-voters listed has made a point to treat me decently during my time here. However, I would never say that they are more or less valuable to this board than the guys that did vote: guys like Sarge, SLC, BPP, CgarDan, Roham, Newf, and Drew have been extremely generous and gracious brothers, not only to me but to a lot of other newb's who have came and stayed. And George, you were the first person on this board from whom I ever received a package. You've probably sent out enough packages that you forgot you even mailed one my way, but it made a lasting impression on me. It was the first lesson I had on how to be a BOTL.



I'm not for or against anybody at this point. What upsets me is I was under the impression that GG, CC, and BPP used to be pretty good friends. Hell, maybe they still are and they're PMing each other having a good laugh about this...I kinda hope so.
But regardless of who is or isn't friends anymore, can we please, for the love of Pete, bury this corpse? It's really putting out an awful stink.

No Problem. Back when I was a kid there was a Warner Brothers cartoon character named Foghorn Leghorn He spoke in a very uneducated southern drawl and usually started his sentences with a couple of words, a pause, then "I say", then he would repeat the words again and finish his sentence. Something like

"Son, ah believe... ah say... Ah believe there's a chicken in the hen house!"

The translation would be

"I have... I say... I have arrived!"

meaning simply that the name calling has begun.
