Interesting stuff. this line seems a little off to me though. "More than 400,000 cigars are sold each year worldwide". I think Cuba alone produces 170 million cigars annually.

Not to doubt your soruces but thats one cuban cigar for every 35 people on earth. I doubt that there are that many Cubans. Or one cigar for every four europeans (Assuming Europe is the primary market).

But then again according to CA: "Today, exports are estimated at between 140 million and 150 million cigars, although Habanos will not supply actual figures. Some say shipments are much less."
