Maybe we could start a tutorial on how to use the SEARCH....

I'm not big on doing reviews, tobacco doesn't taste like "cocoa" or "nutty" or "mocha" to me, it tastes like freakin' TOBACCO. I know what I like and I really don't care what other people think of other cigars. I've never read a review and said to myself "Wow, that sounds like a cigar I'd like to try!"

I second the Sticky - this is quite helpful for learning the lingo here...

I like the sticky idea - but maybe clean it up a bit.

Also, what's a Herf? Is it an acronym or a cigar-related term? That's always eluded me.

From my soon to be released Cigar Journal </end shameless self promotion>

Herf - When people get together and are Smoking Cigars. An event nickname
developed for cigar smokers in the late ninetys on a cigar smokers News Group.
Edit to add: Maybe we need a new thread with a list of Acronyms and Common Cigar Terms. I can put one together tonight if anyone thinks it would be useful.

    From cigaradvisor.com:

    Herf
A lively gathering of cigar-smoking comrades who meet in a restaurant, club, cigar store or home to share their appreciation of fine cigars.

    No idea about the origins...
