Aaron - I have asked Hex for just 2 things in the year that I have been here. I believe them to both be reasonable requests...

    1. Get Bill off of my back so I can enjoy this board and the people on it.

    2. Reveal who was abusing the rules so I know about the people I may be trading and gifting cigars to.

    Here are the results:

    1. Dispite Hex's assurances that he would take care of old #1 up there, Bill continues to badger me. Even after I apologized and he knew I was leaving he couldn't leave things alone. Since Hex has been ineffective with this I have chosen to respond to his abusive posts in a like manner for the duration of my time here.

    2. Everyone has agreed to certain rules, but only Hex can assure that enforcement is carried out when they are broken. For whatever reason he chooses no to enforce #2 or even identify those who broke the rules.

So although Hex assured me that #1 would be resolved if I laid back and Hex has a general obligation to the community to uphold and enforce the rules, I see no attempt to resolve either. My requests have been dealt with in either an ineffective way or not at all. Perhaps acting like a 4 year old will yield better results. It seems to work for Bill.

    Thumbs down

I agree...We need to have these people outed. A rule is a rule. I understand that they are made to be broken but, given the dynamics here. It could cost us time and money.

You are such a whining baby, it's pathetic.

YOU have created all of your own problems here and you can't accept that so you're leaving which is fine. I just don't understand why you don't do it immediately.

Did you ever stop to think that NO ONE broke the rules? Your tactic of repeating a lie often enough to make it become the truth isn't working and it's pissing you off so you continue to whine and make things up.

Please, Shelby - really... You don't want Bill off your back - you want to challenge Bill - you even said so - so why are you insisting you want that as a "reasonable request".

I'm really trying to grasp this concept that trading and gifting cigars somehow has something to do with someone who may or may not have multiple accounts? Do you believe it to be a trust issue? Having multiple accounts no more equates to being a scammer, any more than it equates to being honorable.

Sorry, Shelby - but underlying your apparent calm, rational demeanor is this obvious need to cleanse the community of one person. Even more apparent is your need to do it NOW - after the community has clearly made decisions about who should go and who should stay. And you are doing it in a way that is baiting and confrontational - despite your best efforts to try to "convince" others it is not that way.

...and you do have a thin skin - despite what you say. It's clearly obvious from your disdain for certain words that you find offensive. C'mon - if you're not a "liar" or a "bigot" - why would you be so offended unless you're absolutely thin skinned. Grow a pair, would ya??

Shelby - Hex does not like the direction the board is heading at the present time. Your attempting to drive the bus in that direction does not at all help the situation. You're a mature adult - you just might want to consider leaving in dignity, rather than acting like a child throwing a temper tantrum.

Yet Hex has been strangly quiet. What do you know that the rest of us don't?
I've PM'd Hex and asked him to call me. He can speak for himself.

Maybe more than you would presume to know - I've been here longer than a year.

You know George, It's really too bad that you won't let Bill stand on his own. I really have no beef with you and don't want to start one, but I was wondering how long it would take for Bills posse to come riding in.

For some reason you have this wild idea he's thinking something other than what he's talking about publically. Like calling him on the phone is going to answer your burning questions...

Then again - if you've been around for a while you just know what he expects. I don't need to talk on the phone with him to know whining children are not what he's looking for...

C'mon, Kevin - shelby's tried every other means of communication on this board to get Hex to do something. Nothing else works - he's getting really, really frustrated - so he's gotta get Ma Bell involved...

What's next after the call, shelby - you gonna drop by Hex's house and play parchese with him??
