That Short Churchill looks box pressed...if it is, consider yourself lucky. Apparently they had some serious quality control issues with older runs, and started box pressing newer runs of Short Churchills to indicate that the quality was again being regulated. A buddy of mine got a box of an older batch; almost half of the cigars weren't even satisfactory.

I just smoked an RyJ Short Churchill this afternoon and it was slightly box pressed. (Fantastic smoke by the way.) I thought that was a little weird. I wasn't aware of the info you posted.

Dave, the MX2 I've never had success with, and Don Tomas I've never had a taste for.

MX2 AND Don T are good. Don T are a great Cigar for the $$$ I think. Used to have them at the B&M 3 for $7.50 . Get a Natural, Cam. and a Maduro in a sampler pack

Nice photo, and good line up. I'll have to say I haven't enjoyed the Don Tomas smokes I've had in the past though.

Can't go wrong with the Padron, imho.
