Thanks for putting this together Roham. I agree, this should have both trolls and scammers/scumbags. the only post for the thread though should probably be the first, Roham can update it with new scumbags when they arise. I don't think we need to rehash and dig up old ones. Maybe just have a link to Moki's scumbag list in the post.

I think the wall of shame should just be for people with bad trades. By in large Scum bag losers etc could take on a subject feel even maybe a click mentality. If the board decides someone isn't right for this board then they can banned that person as we have seen done here. Putting their name and address up on the wall of shame is going to cause a lot of trouble because not everyone will agree. But if someone is a bad trader then having that person name and address up on the board is a good reference for members and something that has factual bases. Just my 2 cents

Agree, 100%. For instance, bigpappapuff showed his ass over here, but he doesn't belong on a wall of shame. If someone disagrees, then it quickly becomes political. Trolls have a way of being found out and are dealt with accordingly by whatever board they may drift to, and, provide some entertainment along the way.

Bad traders on the other hand should be outed and others (including other boards) should be warned before they can con folks out of their money/cigars. Subjective opinions are pretty much a non-issue with this group.

Well, these guys (Theycallmemanix was one we disembowled) are pretty recognizable as drooling idiots fairly soon, and they bring no real harm to anyone. Not to trivialize the heinous transgression that is bigotry, racism, and other hatreds aimed at a fellow human being, but this is actually a pretty weak missile when one of these fuckwads launch, and the thing always comes back around and blows up in their face. I think they create their own hell and pretty much live there.

Not really seeing the Wall primarily as a punishment - hell, they all deserve each others' company as punishment. But I am thinking it is something that creates an environment; like a head on a pike that marks a boundary that says, "Thieves, cheaters, liars, etc. simply will not be tolerated and if you scam this board, you can't remain anonymous behind a screen name because your real fucking name and address will be posted for anyone to see so it will be more difficult for you to steal from other boards"

I agree with this. Scammers, proven scammers that are documented on the various boards, need outed in the most public and individual way possible and shared for all to see. These people are a real danger to the community as a whole regardless of which board they are exposed on.

Trolls, bigots, racists, and just general phucktards are usually identified by the FOGs pretty easily, brought to the boards attention.........then played with like a cat toy and disposed of when everybody gets bored by simply ignoring them or banning. The banned member list is a good resource to identify them.
