    Default recieved humidor... now what?

I received my small 20 count humidor from cbid today. Its a beautiful wood burl but I have some questions on setting it up. It came with a puck outside of the actual humidor box which I assume is a humidifer? I also received a smalle puck in the box itself but looks like same thing? They both twist which I assume is open and close? Do I just poor distrlled water on them or what?

Any info would be great. I was planning on buying a drymist tube to control humidity and found threads of it here. But nothing on the two pucks included.

Want to get this setup ASAP so I van order my newb sampler!

You can just drizzle distilled water into the pucks, I would also fill a shot glas with distilled water, and place it, (on top of a plastic baggie) inside the humi for as long as you can... 4 or 5 days should do it, you want the wood to absorb as much moisture as it needs. Otherwise, it will absorb moisture from your cigars.

PM me with your address, I have an extra drymistat tube, as well as a 4 oz jar of Ice Crystal Jel http://www.famous-smoke.com/cigars/s...cfm/inum/25211 that I will gladly send you.

Just curious, and this maybe a retarded question but why set the shot glass ontop of a baggy? Spills?

Thanks for the help, I sent you a PM.

I think someone has a section on how to set up a humi.
