Hi guys, I'm new to the forums and will hopefully have a humidor 100 count on the way maybe next week but had some question about how this newbie trade works. If I don't have any cigars or accessories to trade, is cash the only way? Also, I guess I am in need of a decent cutter/lighter/ and cigar sampler if anyone has these up for a trade.

    thx

    Welcome to the boards eneyman.
Yep, if you don't have cigars or accesories, you'll have to go with cash (be it paypal, check, or MO)
Another option may be to ask one of the sponsors if they would like something ordered for them. For instance, our very own Kevin7 will sometimes put up a "buy me these" post in which he wants cigars ordered and sent to his home in exchange for a sampling from his own humidor.
One of the sponsors may be interested in a deal like that; just ask.

    Thumbs up Ready To Roll

I think I have everything updated correctly and all the trades recorded since 4-13-08 (the last time the old thread was updated) but its possible I missed something.

If the sponsors would look over their trades and the current line-up and let me know of any errors or omissions, or if you would like to sit out a bit I would appreciate it. Any other established members that want to sponsor some newbs.....step right up and I'll get you on the list.

eneyman.....next up in the US is Cabaiguan Juan.....shoot him a PM and try to work something out.

hey i'm a newb looking for a nice sampler, if anyone who is up wants to talk I'm willing to send you cash or buy you cigars and have them shipped to your house, the choice is yours. I'm not sure how much I'm willing to spend on them, but anywhere between 50-100 sounds good to me.

    Hey newbie here.

looking to get into the smoking community. I'm looking for some type of sampler that can help me out now with more mild cigars, but something that can help me in the future with some medium or fuller cigars too.

I don't have any cigars(or very few anyway) so I'm willing to send cash either via paypal or M.O. or buy you something you see on a site somewhere. Either way I'm looking to spend up to say...$100, but I'll definitely entertain packages of between $50-$100.

    thanks guys.

EDIT: I'm not sure if i should be contacting the people that have NOW UP next to their names or they contact me, either way I'm willing to do a deal.

    6. So how do I go about doing this? Who do I trade with?

The current trader (usually has "(Now Up!)" by their name), is the person that you would contact. You initiate a trade by sending a PM or E-Mail to that trader simply stating that you are interested in a Newbie Sampler Trade and any additional pertinent information including budget constraints. (i.e. "looking to do a Newbie trade in the ballpark of $60 - $80 dollars").

If for some reason that trader is unable to accomodate you (i.e. budget amounts don't work out or trader can not accomodate type of sampler desired), you move on to the next person on the list until someone can meet your needs.

hey guys, just getting back on since vacation.

Got an old request (3 weeks) from SmoknTaz for a sampler.

PM is replied and if he isn't hooked up yet, I'll take care of him.

Drew is ahead of me I think, but he's somewhere between here and there now (where ever THERE is, I dunno know).

Got your check yesterday. I'll go shopping Monday or Tuesday.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done." -unknown
