This cigar is one of my favorites too!!!

I really like the Certo shape and size, but I also like the Robusto.

I like the looks of the band too.

I try to have two of these in my humidor at all times!!

Good flavor but I've had a problem with them being tight.

Yes these cigars are tighter than most, but for me it helps keep the smoke nice and cool and leaves the taste smoother and sweeter than other cigars. Their tightness for me is part of what makes them good.

The last time I had one it was so tight that nothing came through. I finally gave up after fighting it for five minutes.

i smoked one of these over the weekend again, and had real trouble with it. The first inch and half or so was fantastic, the draw was smooth and the taste was nice. As i began to enter the second tier, major problems developed with this smoke. The ember kept funneling into the stick, behind the wrapper, causing foul odors and tastes. After about 40 more minutes of relighting, and burning off excess wrapper, i tossed this one. It was great while it lasted.

Has anyone ever experienced this sort of burning problem before? What could be causing it? I had this cigar in my humidor for about 6 months at 70-75% humidity.

Although 70% RH is generally considered prime storage conditions for cigars, many people are coming down to 65% for this very reason. Some cigars just do better in a little drier conditions. Try brining down the RH in your humidor for a couple of weeks and see if you notice a change.

    ok ill try that.

I didnt think it was a humidity issue because it was easy to light, and the first tier burned perfectly.

Whatever it is, it better not happen to my Habanos, too!

Thanks for your advice! I appreciate it!
