Default Asprin.... who needs asprin!? :)

About 8 years ago, I was rear-ended while stopped at a redlight by a guy driving a 1 ton Chevy. I was in a 1/2 ton Dodge & the wreck would've totalled my truck if it weren't so new (crumpled the bed, busted the back glass, etc)... I've had back & neck pain since. They wanted to fuse two vertebrae to cure the pain/headaches - I wasn't keen on back surgery so I told them I was all better, collected a small settlement, and have been living with headaches everyday for the past 8 years.

Cigars are the cure! I tried all sorts of things to stop 'em - working out & doing stretches (this book is great) helped the most, but I get lazy & quit when the pain goes away for awhile. I don't know if it's the relaxation, or the magical smoke, but I've not had this type of headache since I started smoking cigars & when I do start to get one, a cigar makes it go away... just another way to justify my purchases I guess.

Uhhh, well, umm...glad to see you're enjoying cigars and not neck deep in an opiate addiction or chronic pain. You might want to get that checked out, though..

Get what checked out? I've got no headaches!

Ever write something & read it the next day thinking 'why did I post that?'? Guess I was just happy 'bout my realization, sorry for the lame-post

And they say that smoking is bad for you. There's our proof. Tobacco cures headaches.

That makes sense actually, Nicotine is a stimulant, much like caffeine. i know that caffeine thins blood thus easing discomfort. I would imagine nicotine has the same effect (affect?). Or maybe it is totally unrelated who knows?
