    Question torpedo cutting

when cutting the tip off a torpedo, should i cut the whole tapered part off or leave most if it intact? if so, is there any reason for it.

don't cut it all off! its shaped like that to concentrate the smoke. cut as little off as possible and still get a good draw. i cut 1/4"-1/3" off of mine.

Excactly right. And if the draw is still tough, just take a tad bit more off.

Yeah, it isn't an exact science or anything. I guess you can never cut too low, but can cut too high. Once there is no "slope" to your figurado, then you've obviously over done it.

My wife threatened to cut mine clear off once.
