Paul,

Certainly you can see how the members of this board watch each others backs. A little search will yield numerous times newbies have boorishly been pushy. Your question was also a bit vague. I don't know that anyone here (unless they were from Israel) would be able to properly answer your question.

Your friend will have to fill out a customs form at the post office when he goes to send it. There he will be asked to fill out the contents of the package, a correct senders and receivers address, and approximate value. This is common for all exported packages outside of the US - even US to Canada.

Receiving the package is a whole different story. But I'm a librarian. I find information. I'm kind of busy this morning, but I found this: http://www.chamber.org.il/english/Ar...ArticleID=3729 and http://www.chamber.org.il/english/Ar...?CategoryID=72 this. I don't know if that will answer your question or not. You may also want to refer to this: http://pe.usps.gov/text/imm/il_007.htm. Let me know if that helps or not.

Undoubtedly, you will have to pay some kind of duty tax on the tobacco. Can you legally import it? Yes, you probably can, but I can't say 100% for sure. There is no trade embargo between our countries.
