I believe that hex said something along the lines of the chat feature being disabled by accident when he updated the forums. However, I can't seem to locate the post where he put it.

Chat's are working again. Right now you got to click on Chat in the top nav bar, but I'm working on getting the members using chat back at the bottom of the home page.
