post-mortem (post' - mor' tem n)

1734, from L. post mortem, from post "after" + mortem, accusative of mors "death" (see mortal). To post after death. Clinically and scientifically proven, a person can and many times will, post after death. As documented in 2007, a doorman working at a funeral parlor in New Jersey slipped a keyboard into the casket of an infamous postitute lying "In-State". The following day there were reportings of actual posts by the deceased. Shortly after the grave-site ceremony, another post appeared, indicating that one can even post from the grave.
