I looked through the box and it seems the instructions were omitted. This hygrometer had the plastic ring around it but it seemed to block the air passages so I removed it. There was what I thought to be a permanent adhesive mount on the back but was actually a magnet. After removing the magnet I found another air passage (I know, duh), slid the ring back on, and it fits like a glove. Though the digital I had in the humi while it was seasoning never showed below 70-72%. I filled it and it's been holding steady at 70% for about four hours. I have a 4oz jar of crystals in the top and a humistat tube in the bottom tray. I'm thinking I'll take out the tube if it doesn't drop another point or two. My two other humidors have stabalized pretty quick but they're only 50 and 100 stick humis. Am I being too impatient?
