Cigar of the Month clubs

I'm looking for a Christmas gift for a good friend and business associate of mine. He's a cigar lover and I thought a subscription to a Cigar of the Month club might be a nice present for him. Can anyone recommend a good one? Obviously I want one that will send good selections each month, and that the sticks will reliably arrive in good condition.

Also, it's not cigar related, but can anyone recommend a good beer of the month club?

In case you can't tell, I seem to select Christmas gifts for others based on what I wish I was receiving myself!

Sounds like a good idea for a gift, hopefully you'll get one as well.

plus a bunch of other good sites.

Site seems to have a decent selection of cigars.

I guess so far I'm deciding between the Cigar of the Month clubs from either Cigars International or Camino Viejo. Can anyone comment who's ordered the clubs from either of them before? Would you recommend them?

I order quite a bit from Cigar International and haven't had any problems with thier quality or delivery. No experience with the monthly club though.

I can vouch for Camino Viejo. Really quick, I like the way the product was packaged, and I feel I'm supporting someone within this family.

If I was in the market, I would go with them.

I've ordered from both CI and Camino Viejo, though never from the clubs. One thing I will say is, all things being equal, I always go for the little guy.
Another thing, while I have had problems with CI (damaged goods, etc) they've always been quick and helpful to remedy the problem. On the other hand, I've NEVER had a problem with my orders from Camino.

As far as Beer of the Month, I've heard good things about bottletrek.com. I know a cigar shop/beer store owner who buys from them constantly because he lives in a state where he can't get good beer. Thank God I moved from there.
