    Dry boxing as stated above should help.

    Do the cigars appear to "swell" while you're smoking them.....and the wrappers sometimes split? Both of those are indicators of a high RH. What RH do you shoot for in your humi? Have you calibrated your hygrometer recently?

    Ash,

    I shoot for 70%-72% in my humi and calibrated both my hygrometers about 2 months ago and my smokes do not swell and crack when I smoke them. I keep my humidity a little higher because here in Colorado the winter air is exceptionally dry. I will try dry boxing a few smokes of the same line to note the difference between the same cigar dry boxed and just out of the humi.
