Aren't newbies informationally-challenged by definition? I prefer to think of myself as a search-challenged newbie .

Speaking of which - Dan, I was wondering - at some point, could you please collate and share with us a summary of the responses from the various forums that you've posted this question in? I'd be interested in the consensus. Thanks in advance!

Sure, there was a few people here that suggested the LFD Cameroon:

And here, there were more people agreeing on the Don Carlos line:
    http://www.cigarlive.com/forum/showt...194#post450194

Same exact post and question, different forums so I could receive different responses to remove some bias factors that would have otherwise effected the range of answers had I only asked one forum.

EDIT: Seems like the second link didn't copy when I pressed ctrl+c

What makes me anger you so much? The fact that I used the word blend how it is generally used in English speaking countries? Or because I insist that the filler in a Short Story tastes different then the fillers of other Hemingways? I've been cooking and smoking pipe tobacco probably longer then you've been alive, so I think I can distinguish between two different tastes, if you don't believe me, try the two fillers yourself from a pipe.

Or do you just have a lot of built up anger from being insulted on the internet? I'm sorry that I have better things to do then post hundreds of messages on an internet message board.
This is a straight up stupid post to make. I think you've gotten the last bit of useful cigar information you're likely to get here. Enjoy the remainder of your stay.

You forgot Puff.com !?!?!?!?!?! That's your one stop shop for all things cigar. Plenty of "informative" members over there. And you won't have to worry about getting flamed for not knowing what you're talking about.

    Say hello to Cigary.

Don't see any mention of your name in that post Dan. Been alive for 44 years ,if you have been blending pipe tobacco that long thats pretty cool. That and 1$ will get you a small coffee in a 7-11.

No, but you said "this is why..." so therefore you were referring to something or someone in this thread, and as I am the only new member in this thread, it can be logically deduced that you were referring to me.

And the Short Story is NOT a true Hemingway. I found the article.

"Soon after that, the Fuentes released the Short Story, which has the distinctive Hemingway shape, but is not a Hemingway, said Wayne Suarez, a Fuente executive."

Ditto.....all that I asked was for you to identify your source of information. I haven't read the article yet, but I'll get to it.

    ...or me?

Fuente is VERY well known for producing "limited production" cigar, such as the HEMINGWAY "Between the Lines" and "Work of Art".

I suppose, since you won't see any OpusX "Chili Peppers" or Baseball Bats" on their site, they must not be true OpusX?

What about Don Carlos Lanceros? Hemingway "Nom de Plume" and "Mint Julep"?

Your question has been answered, several suggestions posted here and on other forums. Spamming your PM's about a subject like this will certainly inspire us to answer your next querry.

    I feel left out!

    Well, not really.

This thread has moved me to smoke my second-ever Short Story, received from a kind BOTL here. This particular one is a tiny bit on the salty side, and I don't remember that in the previous one that I smoked. Very nice - I'm burning my fingers on the nub at the moment - although it isn't my preferred taste profile. However, to get back to your original question, I think that you'll have to restrict your search to Cameron's of a similar ring or smaller.

On the blend issue, I would have included the link in/when the initial post was made. Just a thought for the future .

The additional PM(s) repeating your post here is a pretty dick thing to do. Definitely not the way to make friends. Does your penis feel bigger now?

I sent the PMs to the people who thought that the information that I relayed was inaccurate, because I figured that most of them would not bother coming back to this thread, and I thought they might find the information of interest since they were all unaware of it. I'm not trying to make friends, or enemies for that matter, I merely wanted to show this information to the people who thought that it wasn't true. I have no plans to ever post outside of this thread; I just wanted it to be concluded. Thank you for your time, and good bye.
