Good luck to you!
Awesome! Two years huh? How much of that is growing how much is curing?
I think about 6 months to first priming, 6 months for curing, and about a year fot fermenting and aging... if they even survive!

Nice Dennis. Good luck!
LMAO... that one will be harvested for it's Ligero content!
They're very flimsy right now, since the seeds need light to germinate, I couldn't bury them in the soil, and their roots haven't developed very deep yet.

How's this going?
I just received Argentina Tobacco seeds, agriculturally known as Nicotiana Sylvestris - 'Only the Lonely', or Woodland Tobacco. I'm going to start them tonight, although I might be too late in the season to start. I'll keep updating progress. I did not realize that they (at least THIS plant) is poisonous.
Can we get an updated pic of your tobacco garden?

I've been thinking about doing this for a while myself.
Only problem that I've encountered was how to cure and ferment the leaves.
I've found a few thoughts on the process, but the same pages that I've found also talk about either tobacco for cigarettes or shredding the leaves before rolling.
Just a stay at home dad (retired until I choose otherwise, thanks Canadian Army medical pension) hanging out and enjoying the good life.
