I just heard. I suppose this is a consequence of no longer living 20 minutes from a ski lift.

My favorite movie he was in is still "Focused".

I kind of want to fight the writer of that article.

I mean ...

You can only cheat death so many times before it pulls a straight flush, and the valley floor is rushing up at 120 mph and you don't have time to think of the wife and daughter you'll never see again.

And this takes the cake ...

I will admit that the article is very poorly written. That wasn't even the article I was forwarded when I heard of Shane's passing. I wanted to find an article long enough to perhaps explain a bit more who Shane McConkey was, and what he was doing. I realize I made a poor choice.

Geez that's bad.
