Doc...I've found that the .357 sig recoil to be a bit snappier vs. the .45 but not something I can't handle. As far as ballistics, both are great rounds but I believe the the .357 sig round has more penetrating power...esp. through light metal.

I plan to get a SW M&P .45 so I guess I'll be able to give you a more personal review side by side.
