I like those ideas and will just have to get over trying to keep them wrapped and sealed. Personally I think the aging happens no matter what but yes it does seem that the cellophane would slow the RH balance.
The quarantine cooler is a good idea. I'm suspecting that if you do find a beetle or two in a box then the entire box must go or maybe smoke them right away before the beetles can finish them off? Are there any treatments for beetle infestation, other than a hammer?
