Thread: Recommendation from small selection

  1. #1

    Default Recommendation from small selection

I'll be visiting this B&M in a few weeks and I was hoping if you could suggest which cigar from their selection would suit a beginner who's only had a few puffs on a friend's Macanudo and found it bland? I plan to ask when I'm at the shop too of course but I'd be interested to see if their advice matches to what the experts here tell me

    Monte Cristo Large Tubes
    Romeo Y Julieta no. 3
    Romeo Y Julieta Churchill
    Macanudo Ascot/Cameo tres petit corona
    Punch Petit Corona
    Partagas Corona
    Macanudo Petit Corona
    The Grafton Corona

Not much of a selection at all actually. nothing worth smoking
The older I get ,the better I was

That's what I was afraid of, maybe I shouldn't bother going there!

    Thanks for the advice

I'd have to say I agree with K7.......if I had to I'd go with the Punch and/or Partagas.

Makes you wonder if they even have a humidor? Personally, I'd go somewhere else to select a good cigar. Preferably a larger ring guage for some mellow flavors.

Having spent some time in your area I know that not many places sell cigars. Do you ever get into Dublin?

What if you took the money you would have spent there, and threw it towards a Newbie Sampler in the Exchange thread?
