I had just watched this movie yesterday. I loved it! And yes, Rorschach is bad-ass, the graphics were supreme - especially w/ the action/killing scenes, and most importantly, The Comedian is one cigar man as well.

I enjoyed watching it, and was happy that it was a long movie!

Great movie! Watched it with friends who weren't comic-savy, and had to explain everything to them, then go back and rewatch it!

Hmm, I had heard it sucked, but I'm wondering if that was from folks who aren't comic fans. I've got it coming soon on Netflix, I shall report back on what I think afterward.

Had 2 comic fans that I know both tell me it sucked. Have not watched it myself but I can't forsee doing so in the near future.

The movie does not follow the original comic series (later re-printed as a graphic novel). Especially in the ending (most important part imho). That being said, movie wasn't bad, could have used a few more scenes of Silk Stockings and a few less of Dr. Manhattan w/o pants . YMMV.

One of these days I'm going to learn to totally disassociate the book/comic from the movie they make out of it. Fortunately, I haven't read that series so I shan't have that problem with Watchmen.

Yeah I need to learn that trick as well. For me the nagging little details that don't match I could care less about. Its when the entire meaning of the story makes a 180 that I get left with a sour taste in my mouth.
