I, for one, think she has some good points, and let's face it... a 2.7 is better than a 2.6. Mabye she should have studied law?

I hope she wins her case, and gets her $72,000.00 tuition back

But if she EVER takes a job that uses ANY of the education provided by the college. Then I'd counter-sue the shit out of her!

I wonder if she put forth this much effort in to her scholastic studies?

What's next, is she going to sue those of us with jobs because we didn't give her ours? 2.7 GPA, what a joke! I wish the judge could give her 5 years in jail for bringing a stupid lawsuit.

Seriously, complete BS. A 2.7? What the hell does she expect when there are people who put a hell of a lot more into getting better grades and can't find a job in the current market. Second of all it has only been a few months since she graduated. I mean some of my friends have been out for a year or more and only just got a job the beginning of this summer. Shit, I didn't find a job till June when I graduated. Which was with a lot higher GPA than 2.7. Guess I should have sued for 68% of my tuition fee since it took me two months.

I hope she loses the case, but if she does win I'll lose a bit of respect for our judicial system.

I'd lose respect more for the 'jury of peers'. The judicial system works decently. Now if we could only get people to do the same

I did a quick look up on NY Monroe College. It is rated #3,367 in NY State.

The way I see it, if someone sent me a resume looking for a job in IT and showed a 2.7 GPA from a 3rd rate college I'd probably toss it, too. And perfect attendance?? Imaging hiring this bimbo and never having her take a day off! It amazes me that she actually got 2 responses. I hope this little witch spends the next 30 years paying off the $70,000 from her job at McDonald's.

    With a 2.7 GPA, isn't it obvious?

Gotta love that "instant gratification" society we have today.

Even without the "c" that sums it up quite nicely.

Standard "I'm not responsilble for my own actions and/or situation" and "society owes me" crap.

To me, this is just a huge waste of the legal system's time and resources...it reminds me the lawsuit against McDonalds for contributing to people's obesity...seriously nobody forced you to super size all those value meals...in the end I'm going to hope that this woman just dug her own grave. After all this publicity who is going to want to take a chance and hire her, I mean if a coworker looks at her the wrong way she's liable to sue for harassment or worse GPA discrimination...
