The Hatch peppers are here and are being roasted out front of a couple of the grocery stores. I snagged some and they'll go in a corn chowder. Also eggs and whatever else.

I am using leftover ham for this dish.

    3lb. of chunked ham.
    3lb of canned sweet potatos.
3/4 Lb. of baby carrots. Partially cooked.

Mix ingredients in a croc pot and set on low. Cook 3-4 hours.

    Take:
    1/4 Cup of honey.
    1tsp. Cinnamon.
Add to the mix and cook 1 hour more. Serve.

    Yum Yum!

Tonight I had a wonderful ribeye steak with baked potato and veggies. The steak was done medium rare. My thought is "if it is not twitching a bit, it's not right!". Yum yum.

I cut some slices off a ham, and cooked it up in butter in a black iron skillet

In a big teflon skilled I stirfried the following:

    1)Green Pepper
    2)Cucumber
    3)Red Oniion

As I was cooking the ham, and stir frying, I cut the ham up, and put it all in the teflon skillet.

I served it all on top of some lettuce & fresh tomato.

Never did this one before. It served its purpose, but I wouldn't call it fine dining. When I'm bachin' it, I cook by the seat of my pants.

Tonight I will make pasta (angel hair most likely) with chicken and homemade basil pesto from my garden. I will probably erve it up with a little garlic bread.

Grilled chicken marinated in garlic and wine most of the day. Olive oil and grill mate mix over skewed potatoes wrapped in foil cooked on the grill. Served with garden tomatoes as a side dish.

I just baked some chocolate zucchini cupcakes. Not a typical supper, but who cares when what you're eating tastes so damn good!

That sounds like a great meal!

I've had a hankering for lasagna lately. I think I might make one tonight or tomorrow night. I want to try sweet italian sausage in it. We'll see how it goes.
