Default Arturo Fuente Hemmingway ~ Classic

    No Other's Review found

This is a second! tandem review with my wife

Smoke(s) Arturo Fuente Hemmingway ~ Classic
Drink(s): Yuengling Porter (me); Water (wife)
    Tunes: None

    Wrapper: Cameroon
    Binder: Dominican
    Filler: Dominican!
Draw: Me: Light / Wifey: Light
    Burn: (Both) Very good.
    Misc: 90 minute.

Pre-light (Me): Light medium brown wrapper. Sparkle of plume. Musky scent, no prelight taste.
Pre-light (Wifey):I like the sparkleys! Smells like sugary sparkles.

Light (Both): Simple on both accounts. Light draw.

1st 3rd (Me): Sweet, light leather. Smooth as all hell. Light to medium body, medium flavor.
1st 3rd (Wifey): Creamy, smooth & light pepper. Tasty blend. The taste hits me or in the aftertaste, rather than the draw.

Ash (Me): Layered tight. Mixed bright white & gray. Holds on for about 2”
Ash (Wifey):Solid when I knocked it off. (She can’t resist continually knocking her ass off)

2nd 3rd (Me): Again, a light leather, some oil Very smooth. Some woodsy hints in there. Beautiful.
2nd 3rd (Wifey): “Ha ha, now my ash is bigger than yours!” Really enjoying the mellowness. Has a unique scent in the residual smoke.

3rd 3rd (Me): Medium body, medium flavor. Flavors described above picking up more in intensity. Still smooth, and woodsy oily more pronounced now.
3rd 3rd (Wifey): A woodsy spice. Still mellow, but it’s a little stronger now.

Overall impression (Me): What can I say? It’s a Hemmingway!
    Overall impression (Wifey): Very Enjoyable

Will (& Wifey) Thanks K7 for these gems!

Nice review... Nice review LOL . I have had an AF gran reserva, I wonder how the Hemingway compares? Neat to see two perspectives at the same time! Roger.

Fancy ash tray. How did you talk the Wifey into joining you in the cigar review dungeon? What a lucky bastid you are!

    Oh, and, "nice job."

    Great review.

I've had a chance to smoke this one and it was a really good cigar.

It's almost happy hour, and I have a Hemingway and a Boulevard Bob's 47 waiting for me. (For those outside of Boulevard Brewing's distribution range, Bob's 47 is their Fall seasonal beer. It's an extremely nice Munich style lager.)

Awesome review. At first glance, I thought the right one was a Hemi Classic Maduro....that sucker was pretty dark.

Very nice, my wife tried to smoke with me once...she decided she prefers the smell over the taste. lol
