Hey Dennis - you by chance a carpenter?

I'm looking to build a house - I don't have an awful lot of experience, but I figure I can pick up a few bundles of 2X4's and some plywood and slap one up before the snow flies. If you could just share a little insight about some "do's" and "don'ts" I'd much appreciate it...
