I know two people that hit a million on a quick pick that means here the US that the machine choose the person's number. If your meant to win you will win. Just don't go crazy limit yourself to few bucks a week and be done with it. I think your best chance of winning anything in life is producing positive Karma. What you give to the world , the world will give back to you. It may not be what you want but it will be what you need.

The lotto is a waste of money. Period.

This article sums it up quite nicely. Bear in mind it is a satrical site but the math holds true.

Statistically, playing the lottery is a fairly certain way not your investment back. It is guaranteed, however, that a winner will be picked and they won't be in the group without a ticket. It's a pretty cheap thrill if you keep under control.

    +1

I won $500 playing Keno one night after a long day at Heavenly. I'm up, and I plan to stay that way.

Oh; well Karma isn't nearly as fun as divining from entrails. I'll stick with what you originally said.

Er, you do know that particular lottery has big problems? Big to-do about it in Ontario a couple weeks ago, all senior lottery and gaming officials have been sacked, etc.

Someone finally thought it was more than coincidence that a huge proportion of the winners were also people who had ticket machines in their stores .
