Nice review, though I have a question...
How are you doing your rating scale? I'm assuming it's on a 10 point scale, but that would give your four categories 2.5 points a piece, while 'Overall' is sitting at 2.7.

I rarely smoke 5 Vegas but I do remember the most recent one I smoked was pretty good (I wish I could remember exactly which one it was).
This maduro one sounds good.
Thanks for the review. Like you said, that's a pretty good price.
TBSCigars - "On Holiday"
Grammar - It's the difference between knowing your crap and knowing you're crap.
The robusto from the freebie sampler and the Apex (box pressed toro) are my preferred sticks of the Series "A". I've tried their Apostle (Churchill) and the Alpha (torpedo) and didn't care for them.
There are really good chocolate flavors with this cigar and its a great smoke for giving to friends, an everyday smoke, or a relaxing evening on the porch or patio. Solid construction, price, and it being well made makes this a very good inexpensive cigar.

Thanks for asking, here is our scoring system: http://cigarreviews.wordpress.com/scoring/
Each category has several sub-categories that help guide the score so it's not an abstract 2.5 or what not. For example, in the appearance category which total 2 points, we break it down like this: (.5): pre-light draw and aroma; (.8) quality of wrapper, head, and foot; (.3) quality and difficulty of roll; (.4) overall exterior quality including label and packaging.
