Hello folks!

31yr American travel agent roaming around New Zealand here to ask all you cigar lovers about the hobby!

I despise cigarettes and i'm a nonsmoker (never had any smoke in my mouth either) however i've always wanted to try a cigar as i've read and been told its a completely different experience than a cigarette... namely that you do not inhale the smoke into your lungs but rather just taste the smoke in your mouth. Is this true or there be 2 different ways of smoking a cigar?

So, I would appreciate any suggestions as to what my first cigar should be (and why please) and any 'guide' on how to handle and smoke one.

My research leads me to start with the romeo y julieta... or maybe a churchill which is just an oversized romeo y julieta from what I understand.

To start i'd just buy the one and try it.. if pleasant i'd probably take it up by buying a humidor (suggestions on specs?) and a sampler kit.

Thanks!
