    I agree with Kris on this one. Your present humidor is big enough to hold a selection of go-to cigars. Get a cooler or start with one you already own. Fill it with water and a cup of bleach and let it sit for a while to get rid of any odors. Then rinse it out, put some beads in it and load it up. The advantages are that they are big, cheap and you don't mind sticking them in a closet or basement, so they hold a pretty constant temperature over a 24 hour period. You also tend to only open them about once a month to restock your desktop, which further helps stability.

    I think that you can never buy a big enough desktop, so start with a coolador. You eventually may want to get an end table sized humi or a tower.

    When I was looking into getting my second humidor I too came across these and thought they were too good to be true. I then researched it a little more by googleing the sellers name, ebay humidors, etc. etc. Came across a couple places saying they were fake and one place actually showed you how it was a fake. It was a while back so i can't remember the sellers name or anything but point is, I'd stay away from any humidors on ebay that seem "too good to be true".
