    Default A short intro

    Just another new guy joining the ranks.

    Names Russell, age 50+, living in North Texas, married with two kids (one of each), professional printer ("male stripper" - not a proof-reader).

    Smoked cigarettes back in the Corps then for about 5 more years before quitting - just never could quit cigars. Just smoke 5 or 6 a year. Now this Christmas my wife of 22 years gives me a gentleman's Christmas. 5 cigars, 5 shave pucks and a 5th of whisky.

    Looks like I'll be smoking more cigars.

    Hobbies are home repair, old Goldwings, collecting straight razors....and now cigars.

    Just read the how to start a humidor thread - lots of good info there. Hope to learn more - probably won't have much to add - at least for a while.

    Welcome from Oregon ! I have a printing background too! Spent some time operating a ten color uv web press. Printed stock for eveready batteries & Norwich asprin labels. But that was a long time ago. Glad You joined up! Enjoy. Roger.
