Can't see the OP because work has it bocked...but I'm assuming it's about selling of older tires. I sell tires everyday and keep an eye on the dates to make sure I'm not selling anythying old. The distributors I deal with cull their tires and won't sell anything even close to 6 yrs. old. Since tires are made with petroleum products the oil released is usally completely gone, depending on conditions, between 5 to 7 yrs. But I have seen them dried and cracking even as early as 3 yrs.
Also, when buying tires, make sure you get the correct load & speed range for your vehicle. They affect vehicle handling and could cause serious injury.
